Last year, I won an 'Individual Screenwriter’s Award'– an Arts Council bursary to write a full-length 90-minute family feature film.

I have written two plays for Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre - Shorten Curlies, and Takes Two To Tango. The televised version of Shorten Curlies won me a BAFTA Wales nomination as Best Scriptwriter.

Additional drama writing experience includes working with Trafford Youth Theatre, Manchester, to create a play called Breakin’ Down The Walls Of Heartache and also working with Cardiff’s Workshop Project to create Alice, Adventures in Wonderland, which was performed at open air venues around Wales.

In 1989, I set up HTV’s Comedy Workshop to encourage local writers - similar to a scheme I set up whilst working for LWT’s comedy department.
